The difference between two versions is that in the American Roulette there is a single and a double zero, whereas, the European Roulette contains just single zero. Each Player has a different colored set of non-value Roulette chips, determined by his/her purchase. $20.00 will purchase a stack of twenty $1.00 chips. $100.00 will purchase a stack of twenty $5.00 chips. These chips have no value at other tables.

After all bets are placed, the Dealer spins the wheel in one direction and the ball in the opposite direction. Winning bets are determined by the numbered slot in which the ball comes to rest. The winning number is marked by the Dealer. Losing bets are collected and winning bets are paid.

After all payoffs have been made, the Dealer will announce "Place your bets." You may then place bets on the next spin until the Dealer announces "No more bets."

Note:On even money bets, you lose only half your bet if either zero (0) or double zero (00) is the winning number. On Roulette tables with only the single zero (0), and the winning number is zero (0), Players with bets on even money (outside) areas lose.

You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips before leaving a specific Roulette table.

When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you.  The dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
